This mount attaches to the sides of any of our crossbars and sits less than 3 4 above the rack. This bracket has 1 inch of in out adjustment and vertical mounting holes to allow for a wide variety of awnings and tent setups. Designed to work with smaller supported awnings such as Tepui, ARB, Roam, etc. This bracket will not work with 270 degree awnings check out our HD Awning
